Elementary Parent Orientation

Parent Orientation will be held on Tuesday, August 12, at 7:00 p.m. The evening will begin with a brief introductory meeting in the Student Activity Center (SAC). Parents will also meet as a group with their child’s teacher to discuss items pertaining to the individual class. At least one parent of each student must attend Parent Orientation. This evening is for parents only.

First Day of School

The first day of school will be a regular, full day with Before- and After-School Care provided. Students are required to wear the Hanalani Schools uniform on this day.

Lunch

School lunch will be available on the first day of school. Lunch coupons are required for purchase. Lunch coupon books will be available for purchase at the kitchen starting July 7 from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Coupons allow the purchase of a complete meal, including entree, fruit, vegetable, and milk.

Health Documentation Requirements

All students must have submitted an up to date health card (Form 14 or HA-16). Student entering school in Hawaii for the first time, must submit a (1.) Tuberculosis (TB) clearance and (2.) a completed Health Record Form (HA-16), with immunizations and a physical examination dated within one year before the first day of school. Students may not begin school unless these forms have been submitted. If you have any questions, please call us at 625-0737, extension 451.

Picture Day

Thursday, August 21, will be Picture Day for all Elementary students. All students will be required to take a picture for yearbook and school ID purposes, whether or not a package is purchased.
