Lower School Ka Imi Loa Students Create Works of Art with Clay.
Lower School Ka Imi Loa students read a novel titled, “A Single Shard” by Linda Sue Park. This novel teaches the importance and value of hard work, selflessness, respect, and honesty to overcome life’s hardships, echoing Hanalani’s motto of LOVE GOD, LOVE OTHERS, AND CHALLENGE YOURSELF.
The novel’s main character was learning about pottery, so our students created their own works of art in this medium.
