Lower School Science Olympiad Summer School Takes Flight!

Lower School Science Olympiad summer school students had a BLAST learning about Newton’s third law of motion with their bottle rockets. Newton’s third law states that for every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction.

Students pumped air into their water filled rockets. When the rockets were released from the launcher, the compressed air forced the water out causing the rockets to take flight!

They had great success using math, engineering, and physics to build their bottle rockets!
