Grade 4 Leaf Exploration and Investigation
4th Grade science classes were out and about this past week. They engaged in exploration and the investigation of plant structures and functions.
Students classified leaves by a chosen characteristic and analyzed their similarities and differences, during the exploration portion.
Students then predicted and drew conclusions of how temperature affects the movement of water in a plant, during the investigation portion. They also measured and recorded data, and identified controlled, independent, and dependent variables.
