Our Secretaries

Each division works like a well-oiled machine and it's thanks to these three amazing women! Susanne Martin (Early Childhood), Tina Pardine (Lower School) and Liz Arrieta (Upper School) work tirelessly to keep things organized, running smoothly, and they do it all with smiles on their faces!

Where are you from/ what brought you to Hawaii?
Liz Arrieta: I’m from the Philippines and lived in the Bay Area, CA with my hubby and three kids for 29 years. We came to Hawaii to help our church plant and for a new adventure!
 
What first got you started in your career? 
Tina Pardine: I love people! So, I knew from an early age that I would like to find a job that would allow me the opportunity to interact and serve people.
 
What is something on campus that brings a smile to your face each day?
Susanne Martin: Preschool students hugs!

What are three words that people would use to describe you?
Liz Arrieta: Organized, persistent, and thoughtful. 
Tina Pardine: Joyful, collaborative, and loyal. 
Susanne Martin: Efficient, friendly, and approachable. 
 
What is your best personal achievement?
Tina Pardine: Finishing the Hapalua (half marathon). 

What is your favorite thing about your job?
Susanne Martin: The people I get to work with. 

As a child, what did you want to be when you grew up?
Liz Arrieta: A flight attendant. 

What is your favorite part about interacting with students?
Tina Pardine: I love seeing them grow and learn from year to year. 

Name a challenge you have overcome:
Liz Arrieta: Walking, hiking and being active again after 5 years with a bad knee following my knee replacement surgery.

Fun fact about yourself:
Susanne Martin: I was born on Oahu, but I was not born in the State of Hawaii.  

Best piece of advice you can give:
Tina Pardine: Choose JOY and be kind to one another.
