Hanalani alumni illuminate our 5th graders!
Hanalani alumni and sons of our very own Felicia Kaneshiro, Christian (℅ 2013) and Conner (℅ 2015), along with their dad, Sean, from Kaneshiro Electric, visited our 5th graders this week and sparked our students’ interest in electricity.
Our students learned that it takes hundreds of hours of specialized training to become an electrician. And you have to be good at math so keep those pencils sharpened. They also got a sneak peak of what’s inside our walls courtesy of the circuit board that Christian and Conner built just for our class. Some of our students got hands-on learning by bending metal conduit with a pipe bender.
