Grade 12 students were getting their hands dirty and knee deep in mud for the lo‘i kalo (taro patch) restoration at Kākoʻo ʻŌiwi on the windward side. 
 
Their STEAM WEEK theme is Caring for Creation: Hawaiian Stewardship in Action. Our students took action by
learning about conservation, community service, and stewardship of the land through a Hawaiian cultural and environmental lens. It aligns with the Creation Mandate, emphasizing our responsibility to care for and sustain the world God has blessed us with.
