Ka Imi Loa Summer Program students went on an adventure to Kualoa Ranch’s Moli'i Fishpond where they enjoyed a boat ride through the fishpond.

Ka Imi Loa Summer Program students went on an adventure to Kualoa Ranch’s Moli'i Fishpond where they enjoyed a boat ride through the fishpond. 

 

Along the way, they discovered various native fruits and trees and explored how each one is used in everyday life. A highlight for many was learning hula gestures that represent “mountain,” “land,” and “ocean." It was an exciting day full of hands-on learning, exploration, and experiential learning!
