K5 enjoyed a lively presentation from our Enrollment Office, who helped with their Project Based Learning (PBL) unit called Map My School.

 

The project’s driving question is, how can we, as K5 map makers, use shapes to create a map to guide future K5 Hanalani students?

 

Students will be drawing and identifying shapes, learning how to read maps, exploring the campus, and collaborating with all K5 students to create one map of the school. They will be incorporating social studies, literature, writing, math, and art to explore this topic.
