Upper School’s Honors Choir class enjoyed a choral workshop with Dr. Alec Schumacker, Director of Choral Activities at the University of Hawaii at Manoa.
Upper School’s Honors Choir class enjoyed a choral workshop with Dr. Alec Schumacker, Director of Choral Activities at the University of Hawaii at Manoa.
He took them through several exercises to improve their individual singing ability and help them sound good as a choir. They also learned a little about how their vocal cords worked and to think about phrasing even in their warmups.
